The Santa Barbara Wine Tour by de Vine Apps provides you with self-contained GPS maps, which do not require cell phone service. In addition there are many 2 for 1 tasting offers, additional restaurant and hotel special offers, behind the scenes videos, and audio billboards, which pop up when you are near a point of interest.

The intent of this app is to expedite your personal treasure hunt for your favorite wines. We do not recommend wines, because everyone's taste is different and the hunt can be as exciting as the discovery itself.

Each point of interest has:

• Special Offers, like 2 for 1 tastings, pay for the price of the app on your first stop. After that you continue to save on other tastings as well as restaurants, hotels, and markets.
• Videos on select points of interest take you behind the scenes previewing the "flavor" of the business. You will get that rare chance to "meet" the winemakers and chefs and take them home to introduce to your friends.
• Audio Billboards trigger when you are using the embedded maps. A short announcement alerts you to the point of interest close by and special offers.
• Vintner´s Picks helps you find a particular wine. Select wineries have chosen one varietal to showcase out of their several choices.
• Closest Point of Interest in the embedded map mode shows the distance to the nearest wine tasting or select hotels/restaurants/markets.
• Narrated Slide Shows gives you the choice of listening to information about points of interest or reading the text if you prefer.
• Pictures can be seen in slide shows or individually at your own pace.
• Fun Finds & Info includes many categories: Lavendar Farm, tips, visitor centers, interesting wine trivia, grape growing and local history. This includes information about tastings by appointment, coffee shops, ATMs, gas stations, free WiFi, and wine trails.
• Select Restaurants, Hotels, & Markets showcase similar kinds of information as do the wineries and tasting rooms. You can find menus, lodging amenities, and market food items to complement a wine picnic
• Designated Drivers guarantee a safe, carefree day of tasting.
